No, appointments are encouraged but not required! We welcome walk-ins. You may have a little longer wait than people who have scheduled appointments.

Do you take insurance?

Yes, Famcare takes Medicaid and some private insurance. We are adding new insurances all the time, so please call our office to see if we accept your insurance.

What if I don’t have insurance? Is this a “free clinic”?

We welcome you to come to our office for care if you don’t have any insurance. Not all services are free, but we work with you to help you get the care that you need.
Costs are determined on a “sliding fee scale” by your income. Please bring in a photo ID and your last two paystubs so that we can help you.

Do you do physical exams?

We do not do Primary Care or Family Medicine, but we can refer you to an office that performs these services.
